I meet a sufi saint. One of biggest sadu cult of Pakistan. When some one come to him. He listen to him. And pray to Allah, mola will full fill your wishes.
When I visited him, he asked what you want. I said just come to meet you. It was time of 2012. round 10 years ago. I meet him on Mela chargah lahore. It was time, when I started to explore whats around me. I am not accepting the realities of life. Failures, misery and betrayal. I replied, nothing, I just come to visit you. He gave me cup full of sweet rice. And reply. “ Daan waalah raab hayee, baanda kisee ko kay dae sakta hayee, Main to buss sun laana haan,” Wish granter is only Almighty, I can just listen with devotion.
Basically he is only hope seller. He just listen and pray to allah. listening is some time the only cure. Aas lag jatee haye, huk lag jati hayee.
So if we listen to some one. Biggest gift we can give them is our time. And then pray to Almighty. Or we give them hope, things will be better. Possible it will help him.
Hope is only thing we have. Possible hope is biggest gift we can give to any one. So if someone come to you and what is sharing is obvious , but give him hope. Things will be better, bad days will gone. good days will come.
The term I remember, from film Three Idiot “ All is well. “. Things will be better, time will be changed.
