read the idea that Thought or living in past is like idol worship. And Living in present moment is idol breaking.
Is it right concept. Past teachers, sufi santh, baghat saints, all are respectable. But we have to follow present day saint, murshad or teacher. talk about. What is past is just idea and also future is another idea.
If we live in past, we are doing shirk. We are shirk adding something. Only reality is present moment. To living in present moment is like Towhid. Only oneness of God almighty that gives us only single moment of improvement. Shirk means multiple reality exist which actually not. Towhid oneness that is now. Don’t confuse it with Oneness of Almighty.
Living alone in Dubai, Scarify for family. Some times I started to live in Past moment. The same incident, That keep me busy.
I started worship some deities in past. Same stories again again. Later I start to realize this concept.
After reading and understanding this concept I feel that past and future is shirk it is duality. Sufi did not believe in past or future. they enforce to live in present moment. So I am follower of Towhid. not only towhid of Almighty Allah, but also towhid of represent moment. There is no other reality of present, dont confuse it with present moment. You have to learn from past. But do not live in past
