I still century old song. I listen this song when I was 8 years old. I visited the small tandoor in home town. on mud wall, old radio called “Radwaha”. Later I saw abada Parveen on PTV.
At that time I can’t understand, what its meaning. By the way I still can not understand.
I still remember one of Gulzar sahib words for Abaida, in intro of Bakhd Kabeer song
“Sufiyon ka kalam gate gaatey, abida khud sufi hoo gaeen.”
She become sufi, she herself become sufi.

My grand mother used to said “ Mieyan, llonn taale lakari main parro gaaye to yaa ishaq mashoqqee bhool joo gayee”. Means, when you start busy in professional life. you will forget all romantic things.
That feels right. When you start facing real life challenges, you forget everything, specially love life.
Now we talk about positive meaning of “ Tare ishaq main, hayee Tare ishaq main”.

These types of Ishaq are beyond my understanding. Some said, Heer rajah also two love gods. and it is their love story. Heera from greeks and Ranjah is avitar or Krishana. Or Punjabi called Kirshan as Ranjah.
What about Ishaq means, your goal. You want something in life. Obsession of material status.

Taree ishaq main joo bee doobha gayaee. Us diyna kee laharoo saye darnah kaya
Your ishaq will be your goal. The target you want to achieve. Where you have to reach. You face a lot of rejection and push back.
