Easy is what we want to do. And tough is which we did not want to do.
Some times things really tough. Usually we have to learn new things. And learning curve require time. We have to spent time.
As our experience grow. Management want to do things much faster. They expect the same thing as we do day to day task.
And we require less time but huge time to learn and develop new things. For this its important to set the expectation.
I think its more important, if you work is delayed, it comes to your expertise. When you scenario resource, expectation usually increased.
It take more easy for young resource to take more time then experienced resource. So What ever things feel easy or tough. You need to communicate properly.
