Set Small goals, here is why

If you are depress and feel loneliness. If you think you did not achieve what need to be achieve.

You are not at position where you must be. Then this video is for you.

My friends Some times big goals make us depress. We all have big dreams, but when we start achieving these dreams, It will take a lot long time. When results are not coming we quite and feel depress.

Solution to all these problem lies in setting small goals.

Start small goals, very small and start achieving them. That makes you happy, small achievements make you fullfilled and satisfied.

What about only 5 pushups per day.

what about only 30 minutes walk.

If your daily expense is 100 Rupees. Just save 5 rupees per day. What about just saving 1 rupee only. 1 dollar.

If unable to control on hunger, what about eat one fourth of Chapti less.

If you feel sad, what about just push yourself smile for one minute. Just remember good memories for one minute.

If you feel alone, instead to waiting for some one, why not just go start talking someone else. If some one say no, try some one else.

Unable to read book. What about just 1 page per day.

unable to write. What about 1 page or one paragraph per day.

You want to learn a new language. what about read or memories just 5 words only. repeat them.

If you worry about something, what about accept it and enjoy and laugh on it. let it happens.

Most of the time worries just lies in our head, they never happen.

If you don’t have any accomplishment in day, what about making your bed in the morning.

When you start achieving these small goals in day. you start building momentum.

Remember, half empty glass is also half full.

If you think, one day you will sit and complete the task for spending full day on It , that will never happen.

Just consider two hours per day and do it with full focus.

Success lies in compound effect. It is doing something consistency with long period of time.

remember journey of thousand miles begins with single step. Taking one step at time, just one step after another, and another and will it help you reach your destination.

Learn to live with difficulties. But stay positive.

I was travelling to Leap event, with one young saudi guy. Young but well educated and fast learning person. He told me that what I need to improve in myself.

He told me I have problem in communication. I am good at professional communication. My communication is always to the point but it unable to make human connection.

I asked him what due mean that. He told look what you asked when you came first time in office in saudi. Instead you ask about us, you just start asking about where are you living. Where I can get residence. Where are good restaurant.

I asked him, now things are good, Or I have same problem.

He replied. no now after 3 weeks things are good. You feel happy.

What I can I told him, there are multiple mishap happens. There are some mistakes happens. I was hired for job. And due to wrong input. My nationality marked as Indian. While I have passport of Pakistan. Second, When I travel to Saudi. The place where I reached. Told me to leave todays night because during sleep I was too much snoring. So I have to search my place in the very morning.

Or after coming to office I have to search office. What to do. The whole day my first day in office was too much depressed. A new city, No place to stay.

The real problem of outsource guy is, no body owns him. Nor a client nor the partner who hired him. Both focus on their savings. Partner wants to save his money and company wants both.

I was afraid what to do next. Here I have mistake. I have to call the company owner. But as most of the time. I solved my own problem. So I started searching.

Our onsite manager called in the evening and ask me about is problem and near his home, He showed me some places cheap hotels. Where I can get space. finally I got one space for 170 Rayal per day. And he told me to stay, and search. At night 11 Pm night I took my luggage and shifted to that place.

Finally one Pakistani Taxi driver helps me to get one Room.

I was too depress those days. Now things are settle down. It took me 3 weeks to cool down.

I can do things different. I am thinking that during this period of almost 1 week. If I stay more positive. Then It will help me to create more positive impression on my colleagues and client.

I am not blaming for anything. I am glade, I took responsibility and problem is solved. But other hand, If I stay positive in that situation, than believe that I will solve this problem without any person. Than, My behavior will much better.

What I learn and it is my conclusion for sharing this post.

Always stay in any situation.

If this situation happen due to your mistake or negligence. then learn from it.

If this situation un expected. then Its Life way to teach you to solve it.

Always remind, some higher power is taking care of you.

You must always have some extra money other then your bank account, credit card or Wallet purse. So in case of any problem you have.

So my friend this is my todays post. Regarding. Live and enjoy life with difficulties. There is always better solution for any problem. Believe in yourself.

Time passes, I am getting old. We have to accept the fact that we are old.

Here in Riyadh life is different, what is different from Dubai. It feels home. Another home. A lot of Arabic speaking people.

I am trying to learn arabic, But it take time.

I meet a lot of Pakistani here, As compare to Dubai, here a lot of Pakistan. Here is language Barear.

Yesterday, I meet a old

I asked him, did you have any girl friend. He replied, I am aged, and you are also aged, its time to pray “ Allah Allah karoo”.

You are also more then 40, its time to do “Allah Allah” pray. At that time It realized, I am aged.

If look back, I have a travel long long back. But still dealing with different people.

Some times I feel I am successful. But on the other hand I feel I am failure.

Currently working for one of biggest company of software companies. as outsource person. Still facing the challenge.

Where is the problem. Problem is I am not getting organize. My opponent is extremely good in communication. He is good in speaking.

But on the other hand, He is not good in delivering things.

When you have to compete others, you have to understand others. What are their weakness and what are their strengths.

But before that, you have to understand your own weakness and strength. I feel, my weakness is communication.

Now I have to work on my strengths. I have to play on my strengths.

So whats are your strength.

When you desire something and really want to get it you don’t settle for mediocre things. you keep moving forward.

The essential step is to make your head clear. What do you really want? Ask your heart about your desires. It is necessary to clear the clutter in your head. The body has limitations but the mind doesn’t have them. Until now only visions have been able to change the world. It is quite evident that revolution starts from your mind. You cannot push your body through its limits but you can push your mind. Never let your fears overcome your struggles. Overcoming your fears is the first step towards achieving your target. It is always hard and tedious. But you gotta do it. Since pathways to success are always under construction. Success requires some attitude. And the attitude required for success is relentless. If you stumble and fall there is always a chance for you to get up again. There is always room for you to improve yourself. It’s never too late to get up again and start pursuing forward. Any challenge or difficulty you’re facing in life has only one solution: get up and start walking. Being stagnant in one place and doing nothing like a lazy ass does no good.

You always search for people like you in society. There is a story behind this background. Once there was a girl who used to feel low about herself. She always used to say that I am ugly, weak, and feeble. There was a person who used to lift her up by saying you are beautiful and you are strong. That girl hugged him and said treat yourself like you treat your loved ones. That day he realized the only person he wants in his life is himself. The conclusion of this story is that the only way we can love others is by loving ourselves. How are we supposed to love our close ones when we don’t love ourselves? Loving yourself means that you don’t need any company or any expensive stuff to define you. Your confidence, self-esteem, spirituality, and morality are enough to define you. 

We search for people and companies to make us happy. We go to parties, clubs, and birthdays to make ourselves feel loved. Although it is just an excuse to make yourself feel better. And it is temporary as well. You don’t need anyone to make you happy or loved. The movies and the expensive brands make us feel that we are not worthy enough. However, we are more than that and we don’t need their help to make us realize our values. By following this mindset you become brighter and brighter and your pathway becomes enlightened as well. You start to feel good about yourself. Every day just look in the mirror and say “I am who I have been looking for”

It is essential to schedule your week so that you can divide your workload. But it is quite impossible. Since we don’t have the same energy levels during all days of the week. Perseverance is defined as continued effort. According to Walter Elliot, perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after another. It is necessary to reach a persevering mindset. It helps you fight your bad habits. A persevering mindset always thinks about getting things done no matter what. They don’t think about quitting. The only thought they have in their mind is that I have to achieve it with continued effort and work. How can you establish a weekly flood? Some people have beaming energies during the first half of the week and some have higher levels of energy during the second half of the week. You can select the day of your choice. And can work your ass off on that day. Choose one day out of every week and perform all the pending work on that day. Just get yourself through those tasks as well which you consider scary. Dive deep into your projects. Accomplish all the tasks that you have been thinking of doing. Nowadays our attention span has reduced drastically which can make us lose motivation at any instant. In this modern era about every third person is suffering from anxiety and stress. And anxiety is the root cause of overthinking. We tend to ruminate about many things in our life. Some are negative thoughts and some are just worrisome thoughts. We can even redirect our thoughts to become useful for us. I will tell you some ways to reduce the habit of overthinking. Let’s start!

Become aware of your thoughts 

Start by becoming aware of your thoughts. What is going on inside our heads? What are these thoughts all about? It is important to realise what are the things that are triggering overthinking in your mind. Is the workspace triggering it? Or is it the social space provoking it? try to predict the situation so that you can manage it. Self-improvement starts with self-acceptance. it is easier to identify your flaws but accepting them is a big hell of a task. A doctor can not prescribe medicine until he diagnoses the disease likewise the flaws cannot be overcome until they are accepted. Don’t let your thoughts become restricted to your mind only. Let them out and write them in a journaling book. Keeping a journal book is an effective way to let things out. Whenever you write those random things out on paper you become more aware of your limitations. 

Daily activities

As the proverb goes, an empty mind is a devil’s house. We tend to overthink more when we have nothing to occupy the space of our brain. Whenever we have something on our mind to keep us going we are less likely to ruminate. It is highly suggested to keep ourselves busy with daily tasks. Like when going out for a walk keep yourself focused on the surroundings instead of thinking in your bubble. The key is you have to control the mind and don’t let the mind control you. While walking in the park, become observant and try to notice everything around you instead of becoming a prisoner to thoughts. Engage your mind so that it won’t be able to overthink. It is highly recommended to try novel things more often. We want our minds to be attentive. Trying out new things will force them to participate in the activities. For example, you can learn to drive a car, and you can also engage yourself in some ted talks or social gatherings, etc.

Scheduled worry 

It is the best way to handle your brain. We can just tell our brain that we remember the worry and we know we have to handle it. Just delay the worry by writing it down in a journal and say I will worry about it at 2 pm or I will do it at night. In this way, your brain will become relaxed and will stop nagging you all the time for the particular task. Your brain likes boundaries and it is advised to keep it engaged.

Meditation 

The ultimate way to control your mind is to meditate. Meditation is the only way by which you can tame your thoughts. Mediation has many benefits and it is one of them. Since meditation helps you achieve a relaxed, calmer, and serene mind, that is why it assists you in controlling your crazy chimp mind as well.

Concrete thoughts 

Concrete things are all about the things that are practically achievable. Write down those things only that you think are practically achievable. For instance, complaining about why I can’t be happy like my friends. Instead of these gloomy thoughts try reminiscing about what I can do today to make myself happy. Look for more concrete things. There are many ways to do that. One is Goal Setting. We have to set smart goals. Smart means, Specific, what you exactly want, Measure, It will be measurable, It is achievable, relevant and time bound. There must be deadline.

Second way is System. We define process. there is no specific goal. There is goal. No big goals. You make habit. Force yourself to built habit. For example in goals you focus to reach in 6 months. Failure and success is part of game. But in Process is no specific dead line. You just built a discipline. make a habit and result will come when you do what is required to do.

The third way is OKRS. That works more in professional environment. Here we have to define what is require as objective and then define some sub goals as key result. Key results are points we require to achieve our objective.

One thing sure what ever you use, we have to put efforts to achieve goals. we have to took small step and force us to over come resistance.

Stress is good or bad.

Stress is good or bad, what you think. I think both. There is common saying. Excess of everything is bad. So overdose create problem.

Why Stress is good. Stress means caring. You are taking care of something. That will happen or require to happen. You put efforts and now result will come. or you take stress that I have to do something with care. If I am unable to do things what will happen. If I deliver something, It will properly deliver it.

But same time it will become bad if it is become habit. We start to busy as habit. For example overstress boiled our blood, problem of high blood pressure and heart attack. All these things result of taking stress.

Best way to take only tension of those things which we can control or which we can not control.

What other thinks about us, that is beyond our control. Why we stress.

but what we can improve, that need stress. Things we do with care, that need stress.

If we want to control stress. We need to focus on what we are thinking. Thought trigger stress. We can not control thought but we forcefully.

Find your spark.

Every one has some hidden skill or hidden talent. You have to unlock that. I read somewhere In the US, people find their inner talent and then monetize these skills.

But some times we are so negative. Due to our inner self or due to what other talk or think about us. Some times our environment is so toxic they did not let you grow. They force their though pattern on you.

In famous 4 agreements book Author Miguel Ruiz. said that we have to cure these words. who are become part of our reality. Either domestication of our environment so we can work according to their wishes. Or our inner self talk did not stand us. Our fear system triggers thread form others people on our reaction and as result we start to say some stupid and negative words to us. We can not do that.

Now question is how we find our spark. That is simple. The thing we did not get bored. Find a think you did not get bored if you spent hours hours on it.

If you start to getting bored. It means you are not built for that task.

For example I love writing. I have to built habit to write daily something. I have to improve a lot. there are chances of spelling mistakes. Grammatical mistakes. But If I am going to improve. There are chances that I can start earning from it. I can monetized my blog. Or even I can provide services to different people to write content.

Nothing built in day. But in the longer run. More then 3 years, I start to earn money from it. You have to pay the price. You have to spent time. And a lot of wait.

Most important thing just start. Some one told me what if I start youtube channel 10 years ago. That was it was less crowded. My friend. Next best time is now. Just you need to start from some where.
